At last the time has come for one of my favorite posts: The Lolita Memo of the Year!

Nesse ano eu usei menos peças feitas à mão, mas também foi um ano em que entrei na faculdade, troquei de emprego e voltei a ilustrar quadrinhos...! Isso significa que o tempo para costura também reduziu (assim como meu guarda roupa!)

Mas, em comparação com o ano passado, acho que dessa vez meus coords estão muito mais alinhados com minha personalidade. Também estou infinitamente mais confortável comigo mesma e minha aparência (inclusive, sem perucas em 2018! haha).

Para 2019, espero poder continuar usando lolita em coords fresquinhos e confortáveis.♥
E é isso! Feliz passagem de ano!



But, in comparison to last year, I feel like my coords are better aligned with my personality. I'm also more comfortable with my own appearance (no wigs were used in 2018!).

 Para esse tutorial você vai precisar de:

• 2 peças de elástico (corte-os na circunferência de seu pulso)
• Renda (preferencialmente de 2 tipos diferentes, sendo uma mais larga)
• 2 pedaços de fita (cortadas no mesmo tamanho dos elásticos)
• Decoração

For this tutorial you'll need:

• 2 pieces of elastic (they should be cut the circumference of your wrists);
• Lace (two kinds are preferably)
• 2 pieces of ribbon (the same length of the elastic)
• Decoration

1. Para começar, pegue o elástico cortado no comprimento de seu pulso e estique-o ao máximo. Meça o maior comprimento que ele atinge que corte as rendas nesse valor. Usarei três peças diferentes de renda para esse tutorial (1 maior e outras 2 de mesmo tamanho).

1. First of all, get the elastic and cut it using the circumference of your wrist as a reference. Then, stretch it to the maximum. Measure the longest length it reaches and then cut your lace by that amount. I will use three different pieces of lace for this tutorial (1 larger and 2 others of the same size).


2. Agora, coloque os pedaços de renda um sobre o outro, como na imagem acima, e passe uma costura na borda inferior.

2. Now place the lace pieces on top of each other, just like the picture above, and sew over the bottom edge of it.



3. As três peças de renda devem ficar unidas como na imagem acima. Separe uma das peças menores e coloque-a para baixo. Ela será a base do seu wristcuff, enquanto que as duas de cima serão a parte superior.

3. The three pieces of lace should be attached as in the picture above. Take one of the smaller parts and place it down (like in the picture). It will be the base of your wristcuff, while the top two will be the top.



4. Agora pegue a fita usada e dobre as laterais como na imagem acima.

4. Then get the ribbon and fold the sides of it.



5. Agora, costure a fita sobre as peças de renda, tampando a costura feita anteriormente. Passe a costura reta em ambos os lados da fita.





 6. Agora, pegue o elástico e passe no vão criado entre a renda e a fita costurada, seu cuff deve ficar como na imagem acima. Dobre a peça ao meio e costure as duas pontas com a máquina, selando o cuff. Agora é hora de decorar.

6. Now, take the elastic and pass through the gap created between the lace and the ribbon. Your cuff should look like in the picture above. Fold the piece in half and sew the two ends with the machine, sealing the cuff. Now it's time to decorate.



7. Para a decoração eu usei uma fita vermelha gorgurão, uma fita menor de veludo e apliques de rosa. Sinta-se à vontade para decorar a seu gosto!

7. For the decoration I used a red gauze ribbon, a smaller velvet ribbon and rose appliques. Feel free to decorate to your liking!

It's time (again) for another review! Today I'll review a Bodyline platform that's just perfect to wear together with goth coords!

Então, vamos lá!
Como sempre, a Bodyline envia os sapatos em uma caixa simples que, Deus sabe lá como, chega inteira aqui no Brasil. Os sapatos, assim como quase todas as minhas últimas encomendas, não pegou taxa (só aquela de R$15... aff).

As always, Bodyline sends the shoes in a simple box that, only God knows how, arrives in one piece. 


 O cuidado deles com o pós-venda continua péssimo. O sapato vem embalado direitinho e talz, até com pacotinho de silica pra evitar mofo, mas não vem um bilhetinho sequer da loja (eles provavelmente não precisam disso?)

Their after-sale strategy is still shit. These shoes came perfectly packaged and whatever (it even came with a silica pack to avoid mold), but there wasn't a single note from the store (they probably do not need it?)


Bem, vamos então aos sapatos. São lindos, exatamente como no anúncio. Eu pedi o 23.5 dessa vez, preto, sem enamel.

Well, let's get to the shoes. They're beautiful, just like the ad. I ordered the 23.5cm this time, black and  without enamel.


Como dá para ver pela foto, ele vem recheado daqueles breguetes que mantém o formato do sapato. Não têm vestígios de cola nem costura nem nada do tipo sobrando.

As you can see from the photo, they come filled with those things that keep the shape of the shoes. They have no traces of glue or wrong stitching along it.



These shoes, although tall, are comfortable when walking. They're not padded on the inside, so it probably won't be good for prolonged use. This time I bought it 0.5cm bigger than my usual size so that I could have more room for thicker socks.

As always, the cost benefit of Bodyline is very good. I do recommend this model of shoes.

Nesse final de semana tivemos aqui em BH o meeting de Natal que, tradicionalmente, acontece na casa da Alê.

This weekend we had the so-traditional Christmas meeting!


Dessa vez eu decidi participar do amigo oculto e dei muita sorte em tirar a Hazel (do blog My Lolita Day) ! Ela gosta de coisas sweet, então rumei para o centro e visitei todas as lojinhas chinesas que eu mais gosto ♥  Tivemos mais ou menos três dias para fazer as compras, então buscar online era fora de questão.




Estava MUITO quente no dia! Tipo, muito MESMO! Daí decidi ir com o OP da Angelic Pretty que comprei há pouco!

It was VERY hot in the day! Like, VERY VERY HOT! So I decided to go with the Angelic Pretty OP that I just bought! 


Fiz o coord mais fresco que eu consegui, prendendo o cabelo no alto, usando meias curtas e colocando o mínimo de acessórios que dava.

I did the simplest coord I could with it, tucking my hair up, wearing short socks and putting the minimum of accessories possible.


Ah! Quem me tirou foi a Nanako! Ganhei um monte de coisa legal, tipo acessório azul marinho (que eu to sempre reclamando que preciso), acessórios para fazer coques (precisava também uhauhauha) e um batom vermelho maravilhoso da Vult! ♥

Ah! Nanako was my second Santa friend! I got a lot of cool stuff, like a navy blue ribbon (which I always complain about not having enough), accessories to make buns (I also needed uhauhauha) and an wonderful red lipstick from Vult! ♥


E é isso! Também tivemos valentines (ganhei dois! ;; <3) e voltei para casa assim que o Sol começou a se por (tinha freela pra entregar ainda kek).

O review de hoje é de uma peça que consegui na WunderWelt: a saia Chiffon Stripe da Innocent World!

Today's review is for a piece I got through WunderWelt: Chiffon Stripe Skirt from Innocent World!

Essa saia de Chiffon da Innocent World foi um achado! Consegui um preço mais em conta porque o zíper estava, aparentemente, emperrado. Chegando aqui, eu dei uma lavada na saia e pronto: o Zíper estava também novo.

This skirt was found by pure luck through WunderWelt's shop on Lace Market! I got a really good price because the zipper, they said, was stuck. As soon as it arrived I washed thoroughly and... poof! The zipper was fixed!


 Como vocês podem ver, a saia tem um tom creme bem leve. O modelo original vinha nas cores preta, marrom e bege x preto (que é a que eu comprei). Isso significa que ela não combina muito bem com peças brancas, mas sim com off-white. Ah! Se você olhar de perto vai perceber que o chiffon usado na saia é levemente listrado.

Anyway, as you may notice, this skirt is actually beige, not white, so it doesn't match with any other white fabric, but rather with my off-white pieces. The original release came in black, brown and beige x black (I have this one). Ah! If you look closely you'll notice that the fabric has a subtle striped pattern.


A parte da cintura é um corset mais alto feito de tecido grosso (que esquenta bastante!) decorado com dois laços presos à saia.

The waist area is a black corset made of thick fabric. There are two fixed bows on it and some ruffles. 


O zíper está na lateral direita da saia e no verso, como podem ver, tem um corset lacing sobre um painel de shirring.

The zipper is on the right side of the skirt and the back, as you may see below, has a shirring panel under a corset lacing made of the same fabric as the waist area.
 

Essa saia é bem pesada por conta das camadas de chiffon, daí a razão da minha anágua estar sempre murcha quando o uso. Preciso combinar duas anáguas pra garantir que essa saia fique bem armada até o fim do dia :(

This skirt is pretty heavy because of the layers of chiffon! So, in order to mantain the shape, I have to put on two different pettis Orz
