The dress came packed in a random plastic bag without the store’s logo or whatsoever. I know I can’t expect much when it’s from Taobao random stores, but since Resailan’s last order I had my hopes high. Anyway, the dress arrived in perfect condition with the separate waist sash and two ribbons.


O vestido tem duas camadas: o tecido externo, de chiffon transparente e com glitter, e o forro, feito de tecido sintético. A melhor parte é que ele é bem fresquinho, perfeito para o verão.

The dress has two layers: the outer fabric, that’s a soft see-trough chiffon, and the lining, that’s made out of synthetic fabric. The good part is that it’s very fresh, so it may be perfect for summer days despite being black.

Os botões e as rendas são bem delicadas! Não só isso, a qualidade da costura é bem boa, sem linhas soltas ou tortas na peça.

The buttons and laces are very delicate! Also, the sewing quality is pretty good, with no flaws or sloppy seams.


O que mais me incomodou, porém, é que o tecido é um tanto diferente daquele postado no anúncio. Ele não tem a marcação de constelações, mas, ao invés disso, tem pequenas estrelinhas gliteradas. É fofo, eu sei, mas não era o retratado e isso me deixa com o pé atrás com a loja.

The one thing that bothered me, though, is that the fabric is kinda different from the one pictured. It has no constellations, but small stars like galaxy prints. It’s cute, I know, but I feel like I can’t trust this store anymore.


O molde também parece um pouco diferente do vestido do anúncio, já que o forro do vestido que recebi tem o mesmo comprimento do tecido externo.

De qualquer modo, estou feliz com o vestido e o preço que paguei por ele. Cintura alta realmente não é minha praia, mas esse ficou até aceitável. Experimentei com anágua cupcake e A-line e confesso que A-line ficou muito mais harmônico.

The dress' pattern also seems a bit different from the one pictured, since the lining has the same size of the outer fabric, which isn’t true on the store picture. Of course I prefer this way, but again, I probably won’t be buying again from Dawn Rose since they don’t seem able to keep up with the promised dress.

Anyway, I’m happy with the dress and it fits well in the body (even though I struggled a lot to understand how to wear an empire waisted dress…). It was also pretty cheap, and the quality is not bad.
