Olá! Sexta-feira agora foi feriado aqui em BH (aniversário da cidade) e eu e Caio decidimos conhecer uma creperia que abriu há pouco tempo na cidade chamada "La Bastille".

Hi! This Friday was a holiday in my city, so my boyfriend and I decided to visit a new place that opened around here, called "La Bastille".

Como alguns devem saber, mais para o final do ano Belo Horizonte te força a viver uma vida  submarina por conta da quantidade de chuva. Sem vontade alguma de enlamear meu vestido, catei uma capa de chuva e me empacotei antes de sair hahaha

You probably don't know, but Belo Horizonte is always taken by storms and heavy rain near the end of the year, so sometimes it's dangerous to walk around (because of the risk of flooding) and you never know when the rain is going to stop. I didn't want to risk myself while wearing Lolita, so I got an old raincoat before leaving my house (now I feel like buying a cute one for msyelf!).

Enfim, chegamos lá por volta de 17h e estava até cheio (estimo que a capacidade seja para 10 pessoas sentadas lá dentro). Sentamos no fundo (não queria que minha anágua atrapalhasse o pessoal) e um moço simpático veio colocar a mesa.

Anyway, we arrived at La Bastille around 5pm. and it was kinda crowded. We sit at the back of it to avoid bothering other guests with my petticoat.

Tudo lá é bem temático da França (engraçado o nome do lugar ser justamente em referência a uma prisão...), com "jogo americano" com o mapa metroviário, menus dentro de livros clássicos franceses, pôsteres e mensagens em francês por todo local e alguns funcionários com sotaque ainda latente.

Everything there is themed after France (I did find it odd that it was named after a for prison...). The tableware was a printed version of the Parisian subway lines, the menu was glued inside French books, the posters and messages around the place were all in French and the staff did have an accent.


Nós começamos por um crepe vegetariano salgado, com rúcula, tomate e queijo (não têm opções sem leite no menu...) . O prato veio gigante e dava tranquilamente pra três comerem! (ainda bem que pedimos só um...)

We started by ordering a vegetarian crepe  (there are no lac free options in the menu...) that was made with tomato, cheese and arugula. It was enooormous and it could be easily eaten by three!


Em seguida pedi os macaroons para experimentar (4R$ cada Orz) no sabor chocolate e morango. São bem gostosinhos, mas lembram um tanto os do Verde Mar (que você compra mais em conta no quilo).

Then I ordered some macaroons that did taste good, but there's nothing really exciting about it.


A comida tava toda muito boa, mas uma coisa que me incomodou no La Bastille, porém, foi o fato de alguns funcionários fumarem bem na porta do lugar. Além de total anti-higiênico, isso fazia com que o fedor do cigarro voltasse para dentro do estabelecimento e ficasse por lá. O cheiro do cigarro gruda em tudo também, então enquanto transitavam dava para sentir (e fedorzão de cigarro já é péssimo. Quando você está comendo e tem rinite então...).

 Enfim, o lugar é pequenino, tem uma temática legal e as comidas estavam maravilhosas! Conversei rapidinho por lá e me confirmaram que dá pra fechar pra meeting sim! Então... quem sabe? :)

The food was quite good, but the fact that some staff members were smoking outside the restaurant completely disappointed me. The smell was terrible, and some of them were stinking because of the cigarette's smoke. That truly bothers me, specially when I'm eating...

Anyway, the place is kinda small, it has a nice and consistent theme and the food was truly delicious! I talked with the workers there and they confirmed that they could host a Lolita meeting there! yay!
