Olá! Já tem um tempo que fiz esse vestido, mas só agora me dei conta de que ainda não havia postado o passo a passo seguindo a Otome no Sewing. Então, vamos lá.

I finally decided to upload this step-by-step here, so let's follow pattern (N27) from Otome no Sewing BOOK 5.

Para esse vestido eu decidi fazer as coisas um pouquinho diferentes: em vez de colocar três diferentes elásticos na cintura, eu subi um tanto a saia e usei um elástico só. Além disso, estou fazendo a peça com chiffon transparente, e por isso precisei adaptar a peça para evitar transparências quando estiver usando.

Abaixo você confere as peças cortadas de acordo com as instruções acima.


For this dress I decided to make it a little different. instead of putting three elastics in the waist, I’d put just one, and make the skirt a little higher. Also, I’m using a transparent chiffon, so I had to combine it with a white lining to give more structure and prevent any see-through.

Here are the parts needed, everything was cut following the directions above:


Não se esqueça de que passar o tecido antes de costurar torna todo o processo muito mais simples!

Don't forget that ironing the fabric right before sewing it makes the process way easier!

Enfim, depois de pasar tyudo eu segui as instruções para as mangas. Aproveitei que estava fazendo com tecido duplo e fiz túneis de elástico em vez de costurar o elástico diretamente no tecido.

Anyway, after ironing everything I followed the instructions for the sleeves. I took advantage of the double fabric and made some tunnels along the bottom part instead of sewing the elastic directly on it.


 E aqui está a parte do corpo. Cortei ela um tanto mais curta na altura e saltei a parte do elástico.

 And here’s the part for the bodice. I cut it a little smaller on the height and skipped the elastic part.

Daí eu costurei a saia (dois retângulos de 45cm x 120cm cada) ao corpo e fiz os túneis de elástico pela cintura.

Then I sew the skirt (I cut two rectangles of 45 x 120cm each) on the bodice and made the tunnel along the waist to pass the elastic. (it was kinda stupid, since I had to undo the side seams to make this tunnel… I should have made it BEFORE sewing the skirt and closing the side seams.)

Então, depois de terminar os acabamentos internos, aqui está o produto final!
