Se você costuma acompanhar minhas reclamações diárias no Twitter, já sabe que eu vinha costurando essa blouse amarela a partir do molde da Otome no Sewing BOOK 1 que comprei recentemente (em 2019...)!
If you already follow me on Twitter you're probably aware (I mean, if you can read Portuguese or use the translator there lol) that I've been suffering while sewing this yellowish blouse. I've finally finished it (yay!) and decided to share some insights on both the pattern and the final product.
As you can see from the banner, I've used a pattern from Otome no Sewing BOOK 1.

Esse molde, na verdade, é adaptado de uma blouse de manga comprida que conta com um passo a passo detalhado no miolo da revista. Para a versão de manga curta (e com essa padronagem de renda), porém, não há muita instrução, então você, costureira, precisa ir catando pedaços de passo-a-passo para entender o processo.
The pattern available is actually a modification of a long-sleeved blouse also present in this issue. Because of that, there are no specific instructions for this specific pattern, but it's quite easy to catch on the steps by observing the other blouses' instructions. (That's still annoying, though...)

De todo modo, o molde funciona. Assim, "funciona". Precisei fazer algumas adaptações na gola e no centro abaixo da gola para que tudo fechasse bonitinho. Mas, de maneira geral, o molde é usável.

In any way, the pattern works. I mean, I had to make some alterations around the collar, but it's still very much easy to follow and sew.

- Tira da gola precisou ganhar 7cm;
- Usei passa-fita na manga ao invés de elástico (a circunferência delas é muito pequena para alguém que veste 40!);
- Não coloquei babados na base;
- Adicionei rendinhas na área dos botões.
In any way, the pattern works. I mean, I had to make some alterations around the collar, but it's still very much easy to follow and sew.
The alterations were:
- I increased around 7cm to the collar stripe piece;
- Since the sleeves have a very small circumference for the L size, I've used a ribbon instead of an elastic to make the ruffles;
- I didn't sew ruffles at the hem of the blouse;
- I've added some laces to the buttons area;.
Decidi fazer amarela e no tamanho L da revista (que dá uns 40~42 BR).
Foi uma péssima ideia, já que:
- Não tenho como experimentar e saber como ficou o caimento.
- Foi um custo (e muito caro) conseguir aviamentos que combinassem com esse amarelo pastel, haha
Anyway, I decided to make it yellow and size L.
That wasn't smart, as:
- I wear S, so I cannot wear it and check the fitting;
- It was really expensive (and difficult!) to find yellow embellishments that matched the pastel tone of my fabric.
Mas, não ficou tão ruim, não é?
Para mim, blouse é a peça mais difícil de costurar. Casa de botão e gola demandam muito mais trabalho que qualquer outro processo pra mim, então acabo ficando desgastada quando tenho de costurar peças assim, haha!
Apesar disso, fiquei satisfeita ao ver o produto final.
Agora, voltarei às minhas costuras normies pelas próximas semanas, haha!

For me, blouses are one of the most difficult items to sew! I often lose too much time making the buttonholes align and the collar to look symmetric... Despite this, I'm pleased with the final product.
Now, I'll be back to my normie sewing projects, haha!
